After months, BSF constable S Bohra was going to his home as his leave was approved. However, then Pakistani terrorists attacked an Army camp in Uri, which left 18 Indian Army soldiers martyred.

Following the attacks, the tensions between nuclear armed neighbours New Delhi and Islamabad hit a boiling point. This also led the BSF to alert its soldiers along the international border.
